This Italian never thought he would be planning on spending the rest of his life with a Chinese lady, much less a fiesty Singaporean Chinese lass! Interestingly, after their first date at NYDC in Holland Village, he was determined: “No way am I going out with her!”
His unplanned move to Bali three months after meant that the statement turned into reality. For the moment, that is. For as cliché as it may sound, fate does work in mysterious ways, reuniting the unlikely couple in Bali.
True to the image of a romantic Italian, Roberto believes that love is one of the most wonderful things mankind is blessed with, and that greatness and good does exist in the hearts of mankind.
Having travelled to, lived and worked in different countries, he feels that mankind’s restrictions on life are limited only by the inability to experience other cultures in other countries. Thus he is excited that the Singaporean Chinese lady, who is now his partner, has crazier ideas than he does and is more than happy about going along with them.
So if you want to be part of the stories he tells, invite him and his beau to your country for its local wedding ceremony. Help them organise the wedding celebrations and invite all your friends, or best of all, sponsor the wedding celebrations! They guarantee that when the media speaks to them, they will speak of you.
